Steel jacket was built in 1982 and lined with fiber and was designed so fiber liner can be easily replaced. It has it's fourth liner. Door comes off and roof comes off and bottom is lined with soft and hard bricks and does not get replaced. Fiber liner is a 1” blanket of 2300 degree and two 2” 2300 degree blankets and final hot face is 2600” blanket for total of 6” of blankets. Blankets held in place with high temp stainless steel pins and washers. Kiln is on removable stand with steel wheels and can easily rolled into place. Wheels and stand can be removed to lower kiln. I’m tall and kiln is designed for my height. Stainless steel chimney included with triple wall wall stove pipe and will include roof jack.
